I’m back from my weekend in Liverpool and one of the best things I like to do when visiting a city or country abroad, is to visit a football match. This time Everton was the one to visit and to be fair, I couldn’t have picked a more entertaining match. 6-3, absolutely worth my 40 quid. Instead of doing a big written blogpost, I will let the photos speak for themselves.
The station we got out on our way to Goodison Park
It was a kind of awayday feeling, coming out of a train on our way to the ground
Looking cool, right?
The Sun was out.
In England, fam.
My mates are part of the scenery.
not the prettiest bunch of lads.
But they blend in okay
What says football more than walking to a pub?
Can’t get used to driving on the left side to be honest
The Elm Tree, first pub of the day
It was a friendly pub; inviting both Evertonians as Liverpudlians. I thought this was a bit strange, but the atmosphere was good and my scouse was tested. Well not my spoken, but my scouse ear so to speak.
I’m a sucker for nostalgia
Everton and Coca-Cola. It felt like blasphemy.
“Are we there yet?” – FFS lads
From father to son – no matter how old. Hits me right in the feels
The Liverbird bin
WILL YOU JUST LOOK AT IT
Football is religion, innit
STAHP IT MATE <3
For all my LFC fans hehe
