An open letter to the amazing and inspiring Chloe

“Dear Chloe,

Sometimes you meet people and you just feel that certain vibe of positivity and inspiration. From the moment we first spoke I just knew I had made a friend for live and that you were going to be very important in my life. No truer words have been spoken and I want whole the world to see, how brilliant you are.

The first thing I noticed was how brilliant your blog was. I have been looking for the perfect balance of blogging about mental health and, well, everything else. Your blog got that all, I aspire to be more like you. You put out great blogposts and they always have something to tell. Vital life lessons and I can honestly say that my life has become better because of your blog. So, thank you so much for writing such amazing blogposts.

Whilst we are talking about your writing, let me tell you that your writing is absolutely brilliant. I’ve been very fortunate to have such amazing talented blogging friends and you are one of them.  You writing is so enthusiastic, engaging and well written. It’s like you are telling me all this personally. You have the rare talent of converting emotions and feelings into words, it is really amazing. Chloe, never, never stop writing. Reading your blogposts is one of the highlights of my life and that makes me so happy.

You are a brilliant mental health advocate and that’s how’ve met really. Talking about our mental health is really important and you are so passionate about it, it really is admirable. I’ve recommended you a lot to my friends and they all agree, you are so brilliant.

But above all Chloe, you are a great friend. Kind, sweet, lovely and caring. You are always there for your mates. You’ve been through a lot, but you still are one of the sweetest souls alive. That truly shows how amazing you are. You are so talented, creative, intelligent and beautiful. It’s just amazing to see you grow over time and see you grow into this beautiful young woman you are destined to be.

Your passion, desire and encouragement is exactly what this community need. You are exactly what we all need. Your light is amazing. I felt lost without a path. People say that there’s light at the end of the tunnel, but I couldn’t see anything. You took my hand and made sure I was being safe in the dark. For that I love you and you are like my younger sister. You rock!

Never stop shining your light Chloe. Never stop being your amazing self. Never stop writing. Keep shining on you beautiful diamond, shine on and never change. I love you. We love you. You are amazing!

Brother love

Supporting each other is so important. Sharing love is so important. In the blogging community this is something very common. Yet, it’s some kind of a taboo for men to share the love. Say how much they mean to each other and I think this is utter codswallop. It’s time to address this. Let’s talk about bromances.

Blogging is absolutely fantastic. It has really made me a better person and has made me more compassionate. I have always struggled with the idea that men can’t share their feeling or show emotions. I’ve learnt to express my appreciation, affection and love for my friends and bloggers. I can now easily do that with women, without people thinking I’m on to something or have a hidden agenda. But with men it’s different.

Apparently it’s okay for men to share their feelings to women and women to share their feelings to men and women, but for men to men. It’s a whole different thing. Somehow it’s a weird thing for people to conceive that men can share love and appreciation for each other. It’s hard to conceive that those feelings can be shared without their sexual preferences being mentioned. It really pissed me off and this has come to the surface again because of certain hate emails I’ve received.

Love is universal. Love is universal. Love is universal. Friendship is a kind of love to me. And I would like to share that love with the person I love. I love my friends and it doesn’t matter to me if they are female or male. I feel comfortable saying that I appreciate and love them, and I want to say that to them without being perceived as weird, different or having different sexual preferences.

I won’t stop showing support to my male friends. I care about them, I appreciate them, I love them. Just like my female friends. Support is so important and I will always support my friends.

Berlin is a remarkable city in Germany. It’s known for its great history, culture and free spirited people. But I wouldn’t be me, if I didn’t visit some football related buildings or events. Here’s a brief impression of football in Berlin!

An open letter to Josh

‘Dear Josh,

You are one of the best humans on this planet and you deserve everything God has created under the sun. You mean a lot to me and I want you to know that. In fact, I want the world to know that. You are an inspiration and you make this world so much better by shining your light on it.

Blogging is truly amazing, because it also enables you to meet new people. Just like I’ve met you and I can honestly say that you are my friend. My pal. My mate. I feel so honoured to have you as a friend and I know I’m not the only one. You are so valued, by so many people and seeing people spreading the love about you, makes me one of the proudest and happiest souls on this planet.

You are a fantastic blogger, very intelligent and supportive. Your blogposts make one think and it’s one of the best things. You have the ability to talk about a variety of subjects and always make it interesting. I love your talks about arts, music, books and mental health. I feel so much educated, solely because I read your blog. I’m so, so glad that Mel introduced me to your twitter, because I’ve made a great friend.

I love your chat #RoundReads. We are so focused on social media and the way we portray ourselves, that we often forget the most educating form of passing time: reading books. It’s really underestimated, but reading books not only improves your language, but also improves many forms of communication and conversation. I’d like to thank you for reminding us again of the worth of reading books. You are a legend, my friends.

But above all my friend, you are a true beautiful human. You are brilliant, uncommonly kind and sweet. You make people feel appreciated and I know many people adore you. The world is so much better with you in it, so much more complete. I’m so proud. Proud of you as a person, for raising awareness for mental health and enabling others to grow in the proces. I’m so proud to call myself your friend. Thank you so much.

You are one of the funniest people alive and your witty comments are the highlight of my day. Your tweets do make me feel better and I know I’ve someone I can trust. You are intelligent, smart and I honestly can have the best conversation with you.

Thank you man, thank you for being your brilliant self. Thank you for inspiring us every day. Thank you for being a beacon of hope. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for being you. Never change. Never change you beautiful human.

An open letter to the rad Sian

“Dear Sian,
This probably comes as a big surprise and I’m sorry if it’s something you’d rather not have, but you are truly one of the most important people in my life and I want people to know how special you are. You are a brilliant human who makes the world better and more complete by shining your light on everything. So this letter is dedicated to the wonderful soul that is you, Sian!

I think it was after one of the #TalkMH chats that you started to follow me and sent the first message. I can’t thank you enough for doing that, because that basically started a fantastic friendship and to this day I’m so, so happy that we are such good mates. It’s one of those things that I’m really grateful for the internet and the opportunities it gives us.
I remember being at a very bad place at the time and contemplating very serious things. But you were there for me. Every single day. Talking to me, listening and helping me. I can’t thank you enough for helping me get through those very dark days and always being there for me. You still are here for me when I need and I am so incredibly grateful for you. I’m so lucky to have your friendship.

I’ve learnt so much from you. From blogging, to my English, to new passions and topics. I’ve learnt about your education, your work, your hobbies and what you value in life. You are always honest with me and that’s something I really, really appreciate. But I feel so proud of you. You are profoundly beautiful buddy. I have seen you grow over the months and it makes me feel so proud. I’ve seen you grow into this beautiful young woman you are. More confident. Appreciating yourself and others. Taking time for yourself and always being that incredibly kind and supportive friend.

You make a lot of people smile every week with your amazing twitter chat ‘A Film Club’. I’m so glad I found it and joined it. Not only do I talk about film every week – well I try to haha – and discover new blogs about films. I also made some new friends and  gained some interesting perspectives on the film industry and blogging about those things. It’s great that you are so passionate about film, because I used to be and by following this chat again, that little fire in me started to become bigger. Thank you so much for that!
I absolutely love your blog. It’s one of the most unique blogs I’ve seen. Ever. I have honestly read every blogpost you wrote and that might sound a little bit like a stalker, but it’s the truth. I love the variety of the things you write about. Mental Health, films, appreciating nature, going out on weekends, books and everything in between. It’s like some sort of therapy for me to read your blog. Again, this might sound weird haha, but I promise you it helps me. Your writing style is amazing, engaging and it makes me want to read more and more. I believe I read more than 10 posts in one sitting once!

One thing that I like so much about your blog is there ‘5 rad things’-series. It’s so cool and it makes me really appreciate more things! Also, let’s talk about the word rad. Since I’ve known you, I tend to use it more and more. It makes me feel cool,  just like you. It’s a friendship I have with you, were I can honestly say that you are my ‘bro’. That does sound weird, but I love you like family man. You have been so positive and always encourages me. I appreciate it more than you know.

I would love for you to explore your poetry more, because I think it’s really amazing. You have talent and I think if you would write it more often, it would only grow and it’s amazing for everyone to see that. I genuinely think you are destined for great things my friend and I will there with you, every step of the way!

But above all, you are an amazing person. You are kindness personified, you give new definition to being supportive and lovely. You have always been there for me, building me up and I know I’m not the only one. It’s amazing to see you support others and I really see them grow. All because of your brilliant personality, you enable them to shine more. As I’m writing this, I’m tearing up because you are such an angel to this world.

You always listen to what I’ve to say and that is really valued. You mean a great deal to me and I’m always here for you. In good and bad times. Our conversations are the reason I smile when I’m feeling very depressed and it always leaves me in a better mood. You always make me laugh and talking about food, films and the future makes me feel so much better. We better smash that steak pie you mentioned before bro!

You are incredibly funny and witty, your little puns always make me laugh so hard. You are very inspiring, motivating and educating. You inspire me to do be a better human, to keep on working on myself, to keep on being kind, to keep on spreading love and kindness. You inspire me to continue blog and be confident. I can honestly say that my confidence levels going up, is solely because of your influence and for that, I can’t thank you enough. You are so intelligent and I can honestly talk to you about anything. You know so much about so many different topics, but if you don’t know, you’ll admit it and that’s what I really think is a strength.

Talking about strength, you are the strongest person out there. You strength, perseverance and resilience is admirable. It’s a sign for me that you are so strong and it makes me feel motivated to keep on fighting for everything. You are beautiful in every sense of that word. Beautiful inside and out. I love the way you are and I love the way you look. You are a gem, Sian.
You’ve been a fantastic friend and I know you’ll continue to be. You have touched my heart and soul with your kindness and please know that I’ll always be here for you. And we definitely need to meet and smash all the food, because we need to, well… food innit?!

Your name is absolutely amazing and I always had an attraction to that name, but to see such a beautiful person go with that name, is something that restored my faith in this beautiful world. Never change Sian, you are beautiful diamond and I hope you shine on. Because the world needs your light and positivity, you make this world complete.

I hope you are well and I hope I did you justice with this letter. Lots of love.
